Syracuse football PFF Grades: Orange’s young defensive linemen playing among the best in their class

Syracuse, N.Y. — Only one first-year player in the country has taken more snaps on the defensive line this season than Syracuse’s Maraad Watson. Only 22 second-year players have been asked to play more than SU sophomore Rashard Perry.
The Orange’s young defensive tackles are holding their own at a young age and were among Syracuse’s four highest-graded defensive players by Pro Football Focus during a 31-24 win over UConn, continuing a strong season for both at a position where years in the weight room are usually a critical part of success.
