The IMS issues were resolved veryearly on @ 14,000 miles when things started going awry with M996engines...enough so that Barrington Motorwerks arranged for a factory crateengine with upgraded IMS bearing to be installed in the car under warranty,with the same matching numbers in 2001. A factory sport exhaust (,500) wasalso added at the time.
Last major maintenance was a pseudo60K (although the car had 40K+ at the time) in 2012. Technician performed afull scale "overhaul" which included regular maintenance plus sparkplugs, clutch, refurbishment of the trans and brake pads all around..K worth.
